Who do I contact if I think my soybeans are infected with Asian soybean rust?
In Illinois, you have two options for diagnosis of Asian Soybean Rust:

1. Take a sample to an University of Illinois Extension Office and submit the sample for diagnosis via the DDDI system (Distance Diagnostics through Digital Imaging). If the sample is still suspect based on the DDDI, then the sample will be sent to the University of Illinois Plant Clinic at no fee other than your mailing costs.
  2. Submit a suspect sample directly to the University of Illinois Plant Clinic with the General Diagnosis fee per sample and a specimen data form.

*
Please note that if you submit a sample using option #1 above, then you will not be required to pay the general diagnosis fee of $12.50.
